Our Farmers
Unity Ridge Coffee is built on long-term relationships with the farmers who grow our coffee.
We work closely with smallholder producers, farmer cooperative societies, and estate partners across Kenya—many of whom are women and youth shaping the future of coffee in their communities. Through transparent sourcing and consistent engagement, we aim to ensure farmers are valued not only for volume, but for quality and stewardship.
Our owned 10-acre coffee farm serves as a shared learning space, where best practices in agronomy, processing, and sustainability are demonstrated and refined alongside farmers.
The farm is fully managed by women and youth from the surrounding communities.
Beyond production, the farm functions as a platform for leadership development and economic participation. The women and youth who manage the farm take part in a structured savings plan, where individual contributions are matched by Unity Ridge to encourage long-term financial resilience and shared growth.
This model reinforces accountability, builds assets at the household level, and ensures that those closest to the land benefit directly from its success.
